Civil institutional connections - The Századvég Civil Academy

The aim of this program, started in 2003, is to form a Central-European Civil and Information Center, which will act as an inevitable participant in the training and organization of non-governmental organizations.

The Main activities and plans of the Academy include:

• Conducting research at international, national, regional and local levels;
• Writing tenders, advising civic organizations, aiding disadvantaged groups such as Roma organizations in particular;
• Implementing projects and/or training programs of an educational theme such as: financial management, fundraising, public procurement, EU-training, PR, media, lobbying, etc.;
• Running regional - cross-border - projects with co financing;
• Acting as youth information forum in the region;
• Creating a regional civil educational center;
• Publication of books on general and specific issues pertaining the sector
• Maintaining a Presence in the Hungarian Media
