A long series of books on political science and sociology has been published under the title of Tanítani (Teach) as part of the Századvég textbook series and the Andorka-series, which focuses on social mobility and demography. Out of the former, besides the two Kolnai-prize winner books, a book by István Kukorelli on constitutional law (Tradíció és modernizáció a magyar alkotmányjogban Tradition and modernization in Hungarian constitutional law, out of the latter, the historic-demographic studies by Rudolf Andorka must be highlighted. Books by Ulrich Beck and Wolfgang Zapf were published as part of the Andorka-series.

Our series titled Civil society is also worth mentioning, as is the science of communications. In this area not only do we publish books, but also textbooks and course books for the Budapest College of Communications and Business.

Outstanding examples of our publisher's value creation and preservation philosophy are the trilogy by Béla Pokol (Legal principles, Principles of political science and Principles of Sociology), and the books intended not exclusively for the scientific intellectuals (Big pictorial book on Patriotism and The Sociology of Friendship by Albert Fruzsina and Dávid Beáta) which are nice, colorful books, as well as a large volume, Parasztvallomások (Confessions of peasants) by Tibor Szenti.

Our special program in 2008-2009 includes a large volume edited by Jakab András with the title Comments on the Constitution. This is the largest Hungarian constitutional law program ever published and is modeled on the German comments. Compiled and written by almost 50 authors, this 3000-page volume is aimed to extend the culture and education on constitutional law, and to be a source for the activity at the Constitutional Court and for both the makers and users of law.
