G. Fodor Gábor , director of research

G. Fodor Gábor. Born in Szikszó in 1975. Obtained a degree in political science at Miskolc University in 1999. Defended his PhD-dissertation at the Political Science Department in 2003, supervised by István Schlett . Between 2002 and 2006 he worked at the MTA Political Science Institute .
From 2000, he worked at the ELTE Political Science Institute, teaching political philosophy, then from 2004, taught at Budapest Corvinus University 's Political Science Institute: he also had political philosophy courses with Lánczi András. Currently he is the research director for the Századvég Foundation.
Awards: Academy's Juvenile-Prize in 2006, Kolnai Aurél-Prize for the best political science publication in 2007 ..

Szabó Andrea , deputy research director

Born in Szolnok. Graduated from ELTE Sociology Institute (sociologist), and from ELTE ÁJK ( political science ). Currently conducting PhD-studies at these institutes, and her defense was expected in 2008. She has worked at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences Political Science Institute, as a junior, and now as senior researcher . Director of research at the National Juvenile Research Institute. External researcher of the Századvég Foundation Centre for Political Research since 1997. Fields: juvenile policy and sociology, election sociology, media review.

Kern Tamás , senior research fellow

Born in Bácsalmás, in 1970. Graduated from the ELTE Sociology Institute (sociology), and ELTE ÁJK (political science). Has been teaching at Pécsi Tudományegyetem Political Science Department since 1999. Conducting PhD-studies since 2002. His defense was expected in 2008 . He has been an External researcher of the Századvég Foundation Centre for Political Research since 1998. Fields: Hungarian political system, analysis of security and military policy views of parties.

Kitta Gergely , research fellow

Born in Szikszó in 1980. Graduated from Pázmány Péter Katolikus Egyetem (English and communications). Worked as a journalist, then in the marketing business. Has been working at Századvég Foundation Media Workshop since 2004, where he extended his practical experience with theoretical knowledge. Fields: the media and its social influence, internet-communication. Hobbies: aquarist, gardening, American literature, and numismatics.

Schultz Gábor , research fellow

Born in Pécs in 1977. Graduated from the Pécsi Tudományegyetem Bölcsészettudományi kar in political science. He is currently enrolled there as a PhD-student. Earlier worked in public administration, later at an Austrian political science institute . He has had connections with the Századvég Foundation since 2004; he has worked here full-time since 2007 at the Centre for Political Analysis. Fields: regional policy, regional development, research on parties .

Kenneth Benoit, external fellow (1968, Columbia, S.C. USA)

Professor of Trinity College in Dublin . External fellow since 1997. Graduated from South-Carolina University in political science. Defended his PhD at Harvard University . Fields: comparative electoral systems, East-European political systems, democratic transitions, parties and party systems.
